When is the last time you experienced something so beautiful that you could hear it?
This is how I feel whenever we are hiking in the mountains of western North Carolina. For me, there is nothing like being surrounded by the beauty in nature and sharing it with my family. This painting was inspired by our hike at Cone Park a few years ago. The mountain views, wildflower meadows, endless blue skies and fun trails truly left us in awe!
The lyrics from one of my favorite Needtobreathe songs captured the experience, feeling and heart behind this piece so perfectly:
