“Finding Solace” was inspired by the beauty of our local marshes at dusk. The peachy sunset and little deer wading through the water left me in awe. I knew I wanted to translate this feeling of solace into something lasting.
From the beginning, this painting felt like a reminder that peace can still be found even in the middle of a noisy, heavy world. As an artist, I think I’m always searching for those moments that invite us to slow down long enough to notice beauty again.
I love what nature teaches us in these ordinary, yet extraordinary, encounters. The tides continue coming in and out. The sun still rises and sets without fail. Birds sing with new mercies in the morning.

Printed on museum-quality, gallery-wrapped canvas with a matte finish that is water-resistant and stretched over 0.75" bars. If desired, 1.5" stretcher bars are available upon request.
