South End Sunset (Unstretched Canvas)

This piece was inspired by a sunset dinner with my family on the South End of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The South End is a peaceful spot on the intracoastal waterway often referred to by my children as "the calm water."

I chose this passage of Scripture to go with it:
“How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!” ~ ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭84‬:‭1‬ ‭

The beach is one of my favorite places to pause, reflect and listen. Although God is always near, I hear Him well here in the stillness, quiet and rhythm of the waves. I hope this piece allows you to experience some of the peace I feel when spending time here.
